Inspired by the successful vehicle in motorsport, the Hyundai I30N TCR, we set ourselves the task of bringing the benefits of such a vehicle to the roads. Improved aerodynamics for better road adhesion without worsening the drag coefficient.

Wide body - aerodynamic advantage
When viewed from the front, the wheel is shielded to prevent contact with the rotating wheel. This prevents unnecessary turbulence and improves the drag coefficient. The rotating wheel creates overpressure in the wheel arch, which pushes the fender upwards and thus lifts the axle. Thanks to the large ventilation system, this air is discharged from the wheel arch, optimising the pressure on the front axle and increasing air circulation in the wheel arch, thus improving the efficiency of brake cooling.
Wide front section:
The front part of the wide body consists of a complete wing and minor bumper attachments. The old wing is therefore simply replaced with a wide wing, and the bumper attachments are glued on.
Key facts:
The axle widens by approximately 30 mm per wheel: We chose this value deliberately because it allows the use of wide tyres for greater grip (up to 295 width). In addition, it is precisely the value that still makes sense with regard to the kinematics of the axle. Because if the axle is designed significantly wider, you have to drive with extreme track plates and thus drastically change the lever and also the acting forces, which can worsen the driving behaviour.
The parts are made of tested GRP and are delivered unpainted: TÜV requirement for the parts protocol. The use of CFRP is not possible here.
Wide rear body:
The rear of the wide body kit consists of three parts on each side. A small attachment for the door and two attachments for the fender and bumper. The attachments are glued on and can be driven like this. However, we recommend cutting the original fender under the wide body and sealing it so that you not only have a visual effect, but can actually drive wider tyres on the rear axle without any problems. We strongly recommend that this work be carried out by a specialist workshop.

The axle widens by 30 mm per wheel: We deliberately chose this value because it allows the use of wide tyres for more grip. Here we recommend either 245 tyres with track plates or a maximum of 265 tyres.
