Here at RPM Performance, we successfully 3D print our own intakes for the Hyundai i30N. It's not like other air intakes on the market. We have spent many hours using CAD and CFD simulations to ensure maximum cold air to the air filter.

Our air intake directs forced cold air directly into the air box or air filter. This results in instant throttle response and constantly maintains cool air. The intake allows a large volume of air to pass through and provides a louder induction sound, especially when using performance air filters. Our intake is located directly behind the grille for maximum air intake and comes in red or black to stand out if you wish.

The intake comes in a 3D printed finish. No cutting is required as you can remove the cover to fit this intake. Alternatively, the shroud can be cut if desired.

IF YOU OWN ONE OF THESE, YOU’VE PROBABLY SEEN OR HEARD ABOUT THE STANDARD PLATES CRACKING OR EVEN SNAPPING IN HALF. THAT’S BECAUSE THEY’RE CAST FROM FACTORY, WHICH JUST DOESN’T HOLD UP WELL OVER TIME, ESPECIALLY WITH HEAT AND HARD USE. THE STOCK CALIPER COVER ARE ALUMINUM AND EASILY CORRODE CAUSING THE APPEAR UGLY   

OUR PLATES ARE DESIGNED TO FIX THAT PROBLEM PROPERLY.

THEY’RE FULLY MADE BY US IN THE UK AND 3D SCANNED TO MAKE SURE THE FITMENT IS SPOT ON. BECAUSE THEY’RE NOT CAST LIKE THE ORIGINALS, THEY’RE MUCH STRONGER AND WON’T SUFFER FROM THE SAME FAILURE ISSUES.

EACH SET COMES AS A PAIR OR A COMPLETE SET OF 4 AND IS FINISHED IN A RED POWDER COAT FOR A CLEAN OEM+ LOOK.

• FITTING THE FRONTS ARE SIMPLE. JUST REMOVE THE ORIGINAL PLATE WITH ONE ALLEN KEY BOLT AND INSTALL OURS USING THE SAME MOUNTING POINT. NO MODIFICATIONS NEEDED.
• FITTING THE REARS REQUIRES YOU TO DRILL AND TAP A 6MM HOLE - (WE TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IF DONE INCORRECTLY)

Made from 304 grade stainless steel, professionally TIG welded and hand-crafted in the United Kingdom!

What is a GPF?

Gasoline Particulate Filters (GPF) are an emissions after-treatment technology based on Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), developed to control particulate emissions from Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engines.

It is also the most restrictive component of the exhaust system. Our GPF Delete increases gas flow for maximum output.

What will it sound like?

Turbocharged engines need to be able to breathe. By removing the stock GPF for the RPM PERFORMANCE GPF Delete, you effectively increase flow, so you should notice a slight increase in power and a significant increase in sound, especially during overrun.

Will the Engine Management Light (EML) illuminate?

No.

Unlike many others, we have fitted an internal element for EML control/suppression, which prevents it from coming on.

Our GPF Deletes are a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock GPF and have a 2.5" diameter.

Our advanced valve control allows you to control the exhaust valves of your Hyundai Kona N manually using a hand-held transmitter – for individual sound settings according to your wishes.

Our advanced flap control allows you to control the exhaust flaps of your Hyundai i30N manually using a hand-held transmitter – for individual sound adjustment according to your wishes.

Our advanced flap control allows you to control the exhaust flaps of your Hyundai i20N manually using a manual transmitter – for individual sound settings according to your wishes.
