Mishimoto racing aluminium radiators are designed as a direct replacement for the original radiator, with no vehicle modifications required in the form of cutting or drilling into the bodywork. With our SPEED diffuser, you will not only visually stand out from the crowd, but also bring technology from professional racing to your car. The relationship between air resistance, which you want to keep as low as possible, and the required downforce is maximized by this concept.

The difference: This is not a part attached to the rear bumper. Most vehicles have a cavity in the rear end. This space leads to turbulent airflow. With our diffuser, we cover as much of this space as possible and ensure that the airflow remains as laminar as possible. Made of aluminium, the diffuser is lightweight and stable, while remaining affordable.

The assembly is well thought out: for the most part, we use the original screw points. This means you don't have to cut anything on your vehicle! In rare cases, an additional hole is drilled. The connection is made via as many connection points as possible so that we have an even distribution of force across the entire diffuser plate.

Please note: Each of our diffusers has been intentionally developed based on vehicles that already have a coilover suspension with a low setting. This ensures a ground clearance of 8 cm with the diffuser installed. However, we cannot depict every setting: If your vehicle has a different exhaust system or a modified rear bumper, you may need to modify and adapt the diffuser. In this case, the base vehicle had an OEM exhaust system, which typically has a larger muffler than most aftermarket exhaust systems.

This rear silencer is a racing alternative to the type-approved silencer. The difference lies in the distinct internal construction, aiming for an even sportier and more aggressive sound for true track enthusiasts and more extroverted owners. Consequently, this part is not type-approved as it exceeds the noise limit with the valve open, thus bearing a 'racing' designation. The remaining information is the same as for the type-approved part. For maximum utilization of the system's mechanical potential and independence from the selected on-board mode, we recommend purchasing external sound control.
