The Forge Motorsport adjustable short shifter is the perfect solution for anyone wanting faster gear changes with shorter throws in their Hyundai i20N.
The prototype was made using 3D scanning and 3D printing to guarantee flawless use without excessive stress on the shift linkage, regardless of the short shifter's position. The Forge Motorsport shifter is adjustable within a 16 mm range, representing a maximum reduction in shift travel of 33%. The image below shows the difference between the default gear lever position and the position at maximum shortening for first gear.
The short shifter not only shortens shift travel but also reduces the risk of engaging the wrong gear. This makes it an ideal modification for spirited driving or track days.
