The Forge Motorsport turbo muffler delete has a smooth and unrestricted internal profile compared to the original outlet of the compressor part of the turbocharger. The sole function of the factory muffler is to eliminate turbocharger noise. It fulfils this purpose excellently, but it also impedes the airflow from the turbocharger. Besides, who would mind listening to the turbocharger's sound while driving?
The original baffle chamber has been completely replaced with a CNC-machined adapter that smoothly guides air from the turbocharger to the intercooler. The rubber hose is then replaced by a silicone part that resists high temperatures, pressure and age-related wear.
By using the Forge Motorsport turbo muffler delete, you will achieve faster throttle response and an appealing turbo sound profile.
The replacement involves directly swapping the factory turbo outlet with the Forge Motorsport part.
