You may be asking what the small tube is on our Resonator Delete? The small tube is a Helmholtz resonator. In an exhaust system, the Helmholtz resonator acts as a gas container (usually air) with an open hole (neck or port) leading into the resonator. The volume of air/gas within and near the open hole vibrates due to the 'elasticity' of the air/gas within. A common example is an empty bottle: the air inside vibrates when you blow across the top!

What is Drone?

Drone is the point at which exhaust sound resonates in the cabin, creating a noise most drivers dislike. Decibels and frequencies may vary slightly depending on the driver and car. This is why we created Anti Drone Resonator Deletes.
