The seat is characterised by excellent lateral support and optimal shoulder support. The belt guide on the seat allows for the use of both a standard 3-point belt and a 6-point belt for use on the race track. Length, height and inclination can be adjusted manually. The one-piece seat shell with fixed headrest is made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic and weighs only seven kilograms. The weight of the side adapters and vehicle-specific seat console is approximately six kilograms. Overall, the racing bucket seat weighs about half as much as a standard seat.
